Parts must be returned with the original or a true copy of the purchase invoice, in original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. Parts that have been defaced or damaged (installed, disassembled, marked, oil-stained, primed, or otherwise modified or tampered with) and are not in the original state as sold, including any damage to packaging, will NOT be accepted for return. Warranty claims do not require original packaging.
Unwanted or unused parts returned may incur a handling fee of 15% at Motoris Automotive's discretion, and acceptance for return may be subject to a quality control inspection. Parts returned after 30 days will be subject to Motoris Automotive management's sole discretion.
Special orders will not be accepted for return, as these parts are specifically ordered according to the customer's specific requirements.
There will be no return on electrical parts, other than a warranty claim accompanied by the required diagnostic report indicating the part is faulty, which may be subject to further confirmation by Motoris Automotive.
No refund or exchange on fluids.
All parts have a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Parts must be fitted strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's and vehicle's specifications and must be done by a suitably qualified technician. Claims will only be accepted if accompanied by the Motoris prescribed claim form (together with, if applicable, a diagnostic report), including proof of purchase and payment. Claims will be processed within 14 working days, subject to any technical report requested by Motoris Automotive.
No claims will be processed if the prescribed claim forms have not been completed in full, signed, and accompanied by the required supporting documents.
If Motoris Automotive's technical report indicates a manufacturing defect, the purchase price will either be refunded to the customer within 7 working days or replaced.
If the technical report is rejected by the customer, a specialist report from the manufacturer will be obtained. The costs incurred in obtaining the manufacturer's report shall be advised in advance and shall be for the customer's account. If the manufacturer's report validates the claim, these costs shall be for Motoris Automotive's account.
The alleged defective part will not be replaced immediately, nor a credit or refund made, pending the outcome of Motoris Automotive's technical report confirming the part has a manufacturing defect.
All parts must be utilised solely for the specific application for which they were designed and manufactured. No guarantee or warranty shall apply where any part has been used, installed, or operated outside the intended scope of use.
Motoris Automotive accepts no liability for any costs incurred by the customer with regard to the fitting or removal of any parts, nor for any damages to any vehicle with respect to any fitting, removal or replacement of a part.
Safe Order customers are subject to all the same return policy conditions listed above. The only difference is that the standard 30-day return window is extended to 100 days from the delivery date for Safe Order purchases. After 100 days, returns will be subject to Motoris Automotive management's sole discretion.
